Before Pete first walked our dog, he bothered to come round one evening to meet us - and (more importantly!) the dog. We liked him immediately, and so did the dog. He's very thorough and careful, continually thinking through all the responsibilities that the job demands. Last Christmas we paid a visit to my in-laws, and Pete stayed over in our house, taking care of Jess and, of course, the house. I associate Pete and Urban Tails with fairness, honesty and trust, and would thoroughly recommend talking to Pete if you need help with a dog (or cat). Pete has walked Jess now for 3 years and continues to do so 5 days a week. We feel lucky to have met him.

Pete is so wonderful at what he does. Max and Gus are so happy to see him every day. He has been incredibly reliable, trustworthy and takes such good care of Max and Gus. I have to point out an important point that truly speaks to how wonderful Pete and Urban Tails are. I ended up in hospital and called him at 11:30pm as I was not allowed to be released.

Understanding my duress, Pete took care of Max and Gus and also knew that I may be in hospital longer. That type of care and ease on my conscience is a testament to who he is as a person and how incredibly reliable and understanding he is. I cannot recommend Pete enough as he truly is wonderful not only to my two precious (yet annoying) boys, but is also caring of me. He has been walking Gus & Max now for over a year.

I was a bit worried about entrusting my hyperactive dog and hostile cat to the care of anybody, but am happy to say that they had very good experience with Urban Tails. Murphy the dog boarded with Siobhan over Christmas (and fell in love with her) and Groovy the cat was looked after here in my flat by Pete. The animals were both hale and hearty upon our return, and all was well at home, too. I have found everybody at

Siobhan has looked after our animals for many years, now; initially our three cats, and then our dog as well, since we acquired him. He is quite highly strung and moody, but has been absolutely fine after numerous times being left with Siobhan, sometimes for quite long periods, and is always calm, contented and in fine fettle when we return. I am happy to recommend her on the basis of our experience.

Rosalie of Urban Tails, has been a life saver on two occasions this summer! Having acquired kittens, had not made any provision for a cattery during our planned summer holidays. We found her considerate and accommodating, the exercise feeding and sleeping regimes of two young cats and a husky are no mean feat. It was great to know that whatever was going on in the UK was all in hand.

Whist away the UK had the worst rain storms in living history!! It was a relief to know we had someone at the house.

Rosalie left fresh bread, cheese, milk and the house tidier than we left it, a lovely touch after a long journey.
